Chapter 1: Simplicity
The only word, the only one adjective which really describes childhood, when looking back on it, is simplicity. A world where when people make you cry its a chargeable offence; few people will actually deny you whatever you want; youre allowed to be flawed, while still being loved.
Its simple, easy. It doesnt usually hurt, and good things feel so much more significant. Granted, you fuss about things a heck of a lot easier, but mostly from inexperience with certain types of frustration. If we could keep that loose, easy-loving lifestyle once we had more experience
Well, that would just be far too easy, wouldnt it?
I dont doubt someone would say wed just never learn that way I think its just that if we were capable of this, we would have so much less to learn in the first place. If we knew how to love and be loved, unconditionally, wouldnt we know the most important thing in the world already?
Of course, the mindless rambling of an adolescent means nothing to you. No, dont worry, I understand. You have your own life and your own problems so do I. My names Lucas, by the way.
I believe, however, that however complex our personal problems, they come right down to the same key issues. Watch, listen, learn, and apply to your own issues. It will take you far, and teach you much.
